Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Cupcakes

1st Bowl:

  • 1 1/2c flour
  • 1c sugar
  • 1/4c coco
  • 1t baking soda
  • 1/2t salt


  • 1 egg
  • 1/3c oil
  • 1c water
  • 1T vinegar
  • 1t vanilla

2nd Bowl:

  • 1 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3c sugar
  • 1/8t salt
  • 1 6oz chocolate chips


Fill each cup in a cupcake pan 1/2 full with chocolate batter. Spoon into each cup approximately 1T of cream cheese mixture. Bake in 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Makes 24 cup cakes

**Check oven at 20 minutes, the cakes will be done when there is a slight browning of the cheese at the edges.

**Can make this a red velvet version. Instead of making the chocolate batter, make a box of red velvet cake mix & use white chocolate chips.
